Best horror game played

my favourite and most memorable is resident evil 4 and clock tower

(Devil_gene) I like resident evil its good and the clock tower brings me a lot of memories lol. I played one in playstation 2 I really enjoyed it.

If you have a ps4 I suggest this, but just don't spoil it for yourself and its just a demo currently. Look up PT, and download it. Keep the lights off, Another full game I would suggest is forbidden 2 siren for actual horror with good quality on the playstation 2.

Yes, second fatal frame. And while not specifically a horror game, bioshock 1 does share a lot of the same elements. Dim lighting, low ammo, messed up creatures, jump scares. H\That houdini splicer appearing behind me when looking at the shrine was a good little startle for me :/

Cry of Fear is extremely awesome, though I may just be biased because my names in the donor section of the credits. But, seriously, its absolutely free, so check it out! (It's on Steam)

I agree with the Clock Tower series.I also like Haunting grounds,but wouldn't recommend a game called Rule Of Rose.I didn't like it so it wasn't my cup of tea but maybe it someone else.

I'm going to go ahead and suggest one not already mentioned here. I loved playing Haunting Grounds. You get to have an adorable pet dog that attacks your enemies for you, and you can die in so many horrific ways while hiding!
