I like waking up to offline messages on Skype too. And when my dad randomly places a gift on my desk, like a snack or candy. I remember when I was younger, he used to kiss me on the forehead while I was(trying to) sleep and whisper goodnight.

Going on email first thing in the morning and seeing a place I apply to wants a interview with me. Hering from friends also makes me happy.

I like seeing children being children in public places; causing a fuss, teasing each other etc. Also, I like seeing old vets walking around with their caps on in commemoration of past wars. Finally, I like the sun quite a bit and gentle breezes. The smell of barbeque coming from either side of my neigbhors' homes. Getting the chance to read an historic novel. Going to bed satisfied with life's generalities.
