Why is desperate guys/girls such a turn off?

Well usually when you think of a desperate guy, you think of a dude thats super clingy and on the girl 24/7. No one wants someone breathing down their neck all the time. In my opinion its a turn off because theres no build up. The persons just there. Wanting to do all this crap already. And most of the time they dont really even like you, they just want you or anyone lol

Because they usually have a good reason for being desperate in the first place, but mostly with women I think. Guys can have nothing wrong with them and still get desperate due to how hard competition can get combined with how picky women tend to be. I for one don't find desperation in women in itself to be a turn off, in fact there are actually some things out there I find attractive that many women might consider to be negative aspects about themselves and lead them to get desperate.

Its quite simple when your desperate you are most of the times no longer searching for a proper connection rather then something to fill the void, you could say its in the most primal form in that case, The reason why it turns off others is attributed to that, among other things our minds are wired to pick up on desperation which is usually followed by a low self esteem or sense of worth, sometimes the very reason why you are looking for a relationship to raise that value and prove yourself.

I don't think desperate girls are looked down on. Until they do something stupid like hack your accounts or find an excuse to run away.
