Does anyone ever tried long distance relationship? Like they haven't meet yet? Something like that?

I'm interested in someone I've never met or seen a pic of. Not sure if they are interested in me anymore than as friends. But they are super private and have lots of trust issues, so it's hard to really know them.

I hate long distance lol not because i dont trust people, but because i worry everyday if she will be alright

I've been in long distance relationships and even moved and married my ex wife. Theyre not easy. Balancing the distance takes a lot of communication and trust. I think they work much better if you've been friends a long time first and already know their habits and personality pretty well.

I guess you're right about it.. I tried long distance relationShip when I work here in Brunei and my bf was in the Philippines.. It's hard. So I decided to break up with him.. so It's really hard.. And It's hard to trust someone when he or she is far away from you. But if you have a good communication I guess it will work out somehow.

Yeah, it can work if you've gained enough trust with each other and communicate a lot. At the same time, it can be hard without the physical contact, but some can manage without it, and some are willing to work past it and actually move to meet eventually. I know one of my friends had two bad experiences with guys being overly jealous of everyone around her including her friends though, and that is when a long-distance relationship(or any relationship) will not work. One of the guys went as far as to spy on her and try to hit on her with alt accounts. @_@ She was faithful to both, but they BOTH cheated on her in the end. I know a few people who would purposely choose long-distance online relationships because they did not want to involve real life in any way, and essentially would first tell the people they date about this condition. A bit like role play or a fantasy, I suppose, but with actual feelings. Well as long as they have the consent of their online partner(and rl partner), I think it's fine. As for myself, I do know most of my friends are long-distance, but I do want to meet them eventually. I'm planning to move in with one too, which would probably also let me see others more easily, too. XD
