I think he meant actually molesting children. The attraction, distasteful though it may be, is only a thought process. It's rather unfair to kill people simply for thinking things. Though I have thought about it from time to time.

It's simple really, - the act of it is just messed up beyond belief in its own right and it really is one the worst crimes someone can do besides the act of murder, I think it's worth it in that case, I'm a no nonsense guy when it comes to serious topics. Whether you agree or not is up to your own personal judgement.

Do people in favor of the death penalty think it's worth it to sometimes kill innocent people in order to get rid of the bad ones? A man in Alabama was recently just released from death row after the case against him fell apart. There are certainly other innocent people still on death row or who will be put on death row. Not to mention what happens in countries that kill people for things like drug crimes and have low standards for legal defense.

What amount of proof would satisfy you? I think that's much easier said than done.

That's a fair perspective, but I'm not sure it's possible. What may be undeniable to you could be debatable to someone else. Also, there some things that are always subjective such as intent and mental stability. Let's do a hypothetical example. Say you work in a chemistry lab. There's video of you mixing chemicals that later blow up and kill ten people. We know you did it. But was it intentional? The only person who would know that for sure is you. Your attorney would hopefully argue that you made a grave mistake, but that it wasn't intentional. Your prosecution would argue that you should have known better and so it must have been intentional.
Let's take a second example. Say there's a man on death row for raping and killing three women. There is DNA evidence against him, and all of the women identified him. He did it. But the defense claims mental illness. Two independent psychiatrists are brought in. One says the man has normal mental capacity and is in a normal state of mind. The other says the guy is suffering from a mental illness that affects his ability to control his behavior.
I think this world is just too complicated to hope for undeniable evidence. Everything has some sort of hole, even if it's a hole that the defense manufactures.
