Gamespot said that the rumors were true from a inside source and like its easy enough to believe after his company is being taken off all the art! And a statement from Konami was this It reads: "Konami Digital Entertainment, including Mr. Kojima, will continue to develop and support Metal Gear products. Please look forward to future announcements."

Maybe it will give him the opportunity to do something other than Metal Gear. I really enjoyed his Snatcher game, and while I also like the Metal Gear series I think his talents are misplaced doing the same thing over and over again.

That stands for every artist or content creator in general. But in competitive and money driven world we live in, that's just how it's gonna be.

I love the Metal Gear series it feels different out of all the same old series that we see but I wish they weren't always Snake or Big Boss Maybe one where you're Ocelot or another of Raiden before he's a fucking ninja which is still cool xD

It's already confirmed, he's staying to finish MGSV then leaving, they're already looking for a new lead for the next MGS
