Oh oops, I totally forgot about Mary Kay. If you want sweet, go with Exotic Passionfruit. If you want floral, go with Forever Orchid. They're both $20 for 1.7 fl.oz. (that's pretty darn big, I'm halfway my 1fl.oz. bottle and it's been like 3 years already) http://www.marykay.com/en-US/Fragrance/Mary-Kay-Exotic-Passionfruit-Eau-de-Toilette/150317.partId?eCatId=10002 http://www.marykay.com/en-US/Fragrance/Mary-Kay-Forever-Orchid-Eau-de-Toilette/150318.partId?eCatId=10002

Something flowery or sweet but subtle.

My friend/ex often would say I smelled like flowers, so I guess flowers... but the funny thing is, he'd say that when I never wear perfume or even use soap... I think it depends on the guy. Some prefer the natural body's smell, or just a light soap smell that is free from the irritants of perfume/cologne.

Something light and subtle that doesn't hit me like a face full of pepper spray.

I've currently been wearing elizabeth and james nirvana white in rollerball form. I like using rollerballs before I commit to buying a perfume, it's nice to try it out before committing and shelling out the big bucks for the full size. Although the full sizes usually have really cool bottles lol

I have a bit of an allergy issue with perfumes. Nothing sexier than burning eyes and a runny nose... I think many neglect to think that they could cause breathing problems to others when they bathe in what they think smells good and this is coming from a smoker. It has to be so lightly sprayed that i can hardly smell it inorder for me to be able to handle it. Just remember, that shit is toxic too, literally.

@yaasshat Same here. I used to be fine with it, but in recent years, it seems like I've become allergic to it, as well as other things. It's sad really. I used to love milk, but became lactose intolerant(or milk allergy, idk), and I used to have pet rabbits for years but then became allergic to the hair suddenly, and had to give them away. I also gradually became allergic to pineapple/mango/papaya. Now I'm allergic to perfume/cologne and it makes me sneeze and irritates my nose. It's not as bad as second-hand smoke, but it feels like it's almost as bad, because the person is being inconsiderate of others' health around them. Body wash, lotion, baby powder, and regular soap/shampoo doesn't seem to bother me. Honestly, I think a lot of people go overboard with the masking of their BO, when they probably don't have any BO issues and probably showered already. A shower is good enough. Deodorant isn't even needed for most people, unless they are gonna sweat a lot. We've been brainwashed to believe everyone needs it, because they want people to buy it and give them money.

@Kohagura: It's pretty understandable that people are allergic to perfume/cologne; if I knew my partner had a reaction to it, I would stop wearing it. But, I also don't think buying/wearing perfume is the worst consumer trap, where it's like "OMG BRAINWASH, YOU BUY PERFUME AND YOU'RE ALREADY A DRONE OOOoooOOOhh" Perfume isn't to mask BO, people should already be aware that you need to shower everyday; it's simply to give a light smell on you. Also, if someone smells strongly of perfume, then they're already doing it wrong. You're supposed to lightly spray on one wrist, and then rub with the other wrist. If you use more than one spray of perfume/cologne, it's already considered un-refined and classless.

@cielle That is how my dad wears his. XD He taught me that way with the wrist too, but from what my brother does, it seems like he sprays it wildly in the bathroom and it leaves the whole bathroom and hallway smelling of it, and I can smell it from my room too... >.< I think some people maybe just don't know how to use it I guess. A very faint perfume won't bother me that much from passersby and such, as long as I don't have to be around them all day. xD
