Do you believe in God/s?

I hope it not to be a dull question; it seems in every forum I've come across the question is repeated and rendered almost trivial. But, honestly, I'd like to know, do you believe in God? or gods for that matter. If not, what is the reason? If yes, what is the reason? Personally, I do. There is way too much diversity in people to not believe; The world is so huge! Even if you like a crummy life of suffering there's always redemption. I don't see why people are so adverse to something so benevolent as unconditional forgiveness. I understand that a lot of people try to shove religion down other peoples' throats, but the same can be said with atheists. I'm just asking from your perspective, not your affiliation/denomination with a certain group. Also, I ask myself the question how many supposed atheists would turn to god at their last moments for forgiveness.. thanks for your time! And, God Bless you 0:)

Obviously I do as a self proclaimed catholic hahaha. Though I was agnostic for a while. I chose to believe in my God because I love the morals of Christianity, Ya know, Love all, Put others first, and most of all forgiveness and justice. Plus Jesus did exist even if you don't believe he was the son of god. I also believe that it's impossible for the Universe to be so perfectly made for us, and our planet, It's just to much of a coincidence to me. To be honest, Neither beliefs, of Atheist or Others beliefs are 100% fact. We don't know, It's either you believe Nothing made something and that something exploded and made the universe, Or you believe that an almighty god that has always existed made us and the universe. Neither are really that logical. So I hate it when others put people down because of what they believe, Be they another religion, catholic or atheist, Since it's just so arrogant. Believe what you wish is how I role, You believe what you do, and I will what I do, Just don't insult my beliefs like an immature brat and we'll get along fine no matter what you believe. That's just my two cents.

I believe in gods, but not in the traditional sense. I'd equate them to being foreign entities of this realm (both physical and spiritual).

"God" is a word created by humans to give a name to any phenomenon we couldnt explain since ages ago. So yes I believe there's lots of things we can't explain and maybe never will. Do I believe it to be a male or female humanoid entity, no I do not.

Same here ^. I started out as Roman Catholic. Then in high school I became Agnostic. Then slowly transitioned to Atheist.

Do I believe in the possible existence of highly evolved beings that would seem "godlike" to us? Sure. But I think the traditional god model view is illogical and highly unlikely. Even though I was raised Catholic and even been to Israel.
