What gives you the feels?

Any time an anime show or even a news article is well done and brings home the reality of our mortality, I can be moved to tears. Even the little moment in an episode of Unbreakable Machine Doll where Yomi chooses to die because of the memories of her young can summon the waterworks if I dwell on where she is coming from for too long. Apologies for the run on sentence.

Whenever something bad/sad happens to animals, real or fictional.

@kyetge yeah so true. I got that feeling when kamina died on gurren lagann. Also when those feed the children commercials come on showing starving kids in far countries.

I find stories of young children can make me feel really sad/sweet. Especially stuff like in Aishiteruze Baby, that show has made me internally cry on most of the episodes, and especially since her voice actor is a real child and not a high-pitched falsetto adult voice that most anime kids are given, it really has a genuine emotional feeling to it, especially when she cries... I never actually cry from watching/reading anything, though.
