I'm too much of an introvert. But really it's like cosplay/roleplay.

I'd be too stressed out and exhausted from it. I mean, even regular online role playing with friends can be exhausting for me and I rarely even feel like doing it anymore. It'd have to be a once-a-year thing for me.

Yeah it looks demanding and unhealthy in the long term. It sounds like the good ones can cash out fast if they are smart. You have to drink and be in smoky air a lot which does not work for some I am sure. Still looks kind of fun for a spell. @vapmire_neko, agreed, approaching it like a cosplay/RP might help reduce the mental strain some I wonder.

I think the most interesting part about that documentary that I listed is that there's a kind of twist in that many of the women customers end up also being hostesses or prostitutes in order to continue spending money at the host establishment. So in a way, it's this kind of cycle that kinda seems like nobody wins.

Hell yeah, I wanna try this now! Be like the guy from the video but smoother and less Australian lol ^ and hey, if I was in Japan I'd try being a stripper. Everything looks fun there
