Usually in English, with my mouth, making noises and stuff. Sometimes I'll use a phone, other times a keyboard with typed out messages.

I try to just keep conversations with them as honest as I can. There's no point in trying to get into a relationship with a woman if you talk to her and she doesn't like any of the things you like, so just ask general questions for an assessment.

Dive in, no turning back, let that person know how much of an awkward dweeb you are when it comes to socialization as that is who you are. And just keep going at it 100% If it takes you like three minutes to reply, let it be, and if they ask why, just tell them you are honestly shit at making small talk. It's very likely they understand what you're going through. Assuming you aren't a complete social-retard, people will appreciate that you're really trying to be friends with them.
