Under 18 Members of MaiOtaku, i have a Question

Despite being 15, I get matches. By older anime do you mean those which were not recently aired or those aimed for groups of higher age.

Oh ok I honestly go to a list of anime names, pick out a name and check out the art style before watching. I don't focus that much in airing date however I prefer it if I can marathon all of the episodes rather than waiting a week per episode.

I'm 16 and I really just watch whatever is good,and I'm new to this site but IRL my older friends mostly watch the same as myself

I've noticed a lot of youthlings running around MO and have thought about it for awhile. I don't know if they are here to really find people to love but rather just find people that share similar interests to talk too. Like them, I think I see MO as less of a dating site and more of a community of passionate otaku anime fans. I always smile when I think of younger people of the next generation growing up with anime they can watch on an active basis. It helps anime and Japanese culture as a whole pass overseas and be prevalent in years to come. Anime is more alive than ever because of young people who are passionate for it. Even if they aren't on here for finding matches, they are communicating though MO and friending friends. Welcome them with open arms. :3

I haven't found anyone local but I've made friends. Wasn't really interested in the matches part. I don't watch a lot of older anime, but that's because I never really looked into them. I'd rather do without the fanservice and have a slower paced show. I've watched and read Ranma 1/2 and that came out in the 80s

This place seems more ideal for the younger crowd. I'm here mostly for friends but certainly open to meeting someone for something more. People mostly live too far from each other for relationships (other than online). For the younger people, they probably can't do anything about that. Myself, I'm willing to travel to be with someone if it gets serious enough.
