I know some Korean-Americans who are really nice, but honestly, I'd be afraid of native-Koreans, because of what I hear of everyone there being raised hating Japanese people... @_@ I mean I know not all of them hate them, but I'd feel uneasy if even some did, and deep down I'd feel like I'm intruding by being there. I also might be self-conscious by my appearance, since I'm not really skinny or ulzzang. Well, I guess not so much of a worry if I only visited for a short time. XD I would like to visit at least once in my life... mostly for a particular park that is relevant to my interests. >_>

I feel like all asian Americans kind of act the same (in terms of the latest generation). But in south Korea, like koh says, being uljjang is a bonus. I used to use that as a # in my IG photos lol. I don't know if they're xenophobic or not. I know some asian regions are, especially in my hometown I'm China

I remember seeing articles of some place in China that they would destroy anything Japanese or hurt Japanese people... that would scare me to go to wherever that happened. @_@ I also remember someone made Miku sing a pretty song in Chinese and that got a lot of hate from Japanese. It's also kind of weird, because I'm also half Chinese and Japanese, so it's like... my two blood-countries have conflict with each other. >.<

Some parts js like that. A lot of chinese people resent japanese because of well, you know th R of Nanking. Not so much anymore since Japan doesn't have an army. It's interesting to see a mix of japanese blood and cjinese blood. Is your mother chinese? As for the Miku thing, I'd like to check it out. China likes Korea. It might be because they dedicate Some of their more popular groups like Exo into using the chinese languages

My mother is Japanese(Okinawan), and my father is Chinese-American(Chinese by blood but born in USA). It really is interesting to see couples who come from "opposing" countries or groups, and can just come to love each other for who they are. Then again, neither side of my family is racist. Unless you count my Chinese great grandma who distrusts black people. XD

lol I woulsve guessed your mother was chinese because of your large eyes, but hey. that's the first time I've heard of a chinese japenese mix and it's okay, my grandparents distrust African Americans too. Theyre cool with black people who live in Africa, but when they're Americanized, nope:
