lanalesty, I just didn't realize you were referring to family when you said they need love, affection, patience, and support but not romance.

Not only family, but friends. Just someone to be there without judging. Where you're at that point of emotional despair you really don't need romance.

Just to add, it definitely wasn't a healthy relationship with my bipolar ex, she wasn't aware of it, but was able to seek professional help after our break up. She's a much different person now in control of her own life and in her own healthy relationship. I did have a lot of guilt for leaving her, but no regrets, led her to a better place.

@Godly_Otaku; your sins shall be forgiven little lamb *pats head* In all seriousness though, I know this thread wasn't meant to get all deep and serious but I feel it's important for people to know these things.

leo_ss, are you saying it's common sense that people with mental problems don't deserve love(as in romance)? I'm sorry but I don't buy that one bit.

I meant by them needing quality help, and it being dangerous for the person with such illness(depending on what it is) and the partner. That is what I mean is common sense, That and not exploiting those with said illnesses for sex.

Were you referring to me Godly_Otaku? If so then I'm assuming that wasn't a compliment and just going to say one thing.... Please enjoy yourself at our MO, as the official vampire of MO I hope you enjoy your stay, But do not talk to or refer to me again. If you weren't referring to me then completely ignore about what you read.
