So, if you want to send some one a private message the only way to do it is to comment on the page where everyone can see it?

How do you mean? Unless their profile if locked down I'm pretty sure you can send PMs.

Ahhh I see, you'd have to add them first, or yes, just write on their wall.

Ah ok, cuz I found other sites like this, but are asking to pay in order to talk and that's stupid.

No no, talking is free, just add or use the wall. Don't worry about people freaking about being added; almost everyone adds before talking here.

Underage people you have to add before you can message on their walls (i am underage, so thats how i know cause i have added people of my own age group) of age people you can message without adding
