Thumbs Up Button

Nah, it would just turn into a war for who can get the most likes, exactly like it is on Facebook. Again, if you agree wit someone, might as well say it with words, instead of hiding behind thumbs up picture. I mean, we're already hiding behind screens so...

In theory this is a good idea. Sometimes I just want to show support or a nod of agreement. I think in a forum like this with few active users a "like" button would only reduce the posts.

I agree with everyone against the idea. I do, however, wish there were some feature for directly repling to posts. I'm not adroit when it comes to online forums, so forgive me if I'm wrong here.

I don't think I will implement a like system soon. It's good auto feedback for "I wanted to read" versus "This post is not worth reading" but right now that wouldn't matter much anyway. I agree that directly replying to posts would be nice but I have to figure out how to keep it simple on teh backend.
