Is cheating acceptable?

I wouldn't put it past people to answer "Yes" I had a GF who made it clear she wasn't against cheating...urked the fuck out of me. So the question is not pointless to me. I do a lot of odd things that I don't have to justify to you.

They're are plenty of shades of grey, for example, I'm sure quite abit of cheating is due to a loveless relationship but are only together for the kids. Heck some people think that having sex with a prostitute isn't cheating so it's initially what you define cheating as I guess. But betraying someone's trust is something I could never get behind. So it's a no from me.

Well, it's the betrayal of trust like you said. Even if the loveless marriage was broken it's not justified unless it's clear how far one can go. Cheating by definition is stepping over the line.

Sometimes people step over the line. I find it's always good see the whole picture before condemning someones actions. Respectively cheating is only good for rotting the soul.
