Homebrew Tabletop

Ever wanted to create your own board game? I'm in the process of creating my own special board game. All I need now is to learn how to create tokens either of pewter, plastic, clay, etc… The reason I started this thread is after seeing a homebrew tabletop version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (uploaded by DRest806 on YouTube), I thought of trying this out for myself. If you had an idea for a tabletop game, what would it be? Reply to this post with any good ideas.

I invented a 4 person chess game as a freshman in high school. I never tried to patent it because I didn't figure it would be all that popular.

I made some when I was a kid. I recall making a rather simple turn based board out of cardboard and paper. No one to play with of course so I just took turns alone. Not sure if it counts but during class I remember drawing a track on a sheet of paper, then drawing some cars in the corner as if seen from above. tore out the cars, then raced them on the track using pencils to guide them.
