The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - keep it going!

Since Psycho-Pass has a limited fan base right now, I decided to start this one too. Same rules as before; I want anyone who reads this and enjoys writing to write the next bit. (disclaimer if required - I own none of the Haruhi Suzumiya fanchise, and this is purely for entertainment) There was only one person Kyon felt comfortable turning to for something like this. How had Haruhi even thought of this? Why had this even crossed her mind? He'd been perfectly fine before going to bed. He'd been a healthy, five foot seven, modestly toned and relatively happy teenage boy. When he'd gone to bed he'd had no idea that something like this would happen. It was still early; the morning bell hadn't rung yet, so where would he be right now? His classroom? Seemed the most reasonable choice. Kyon edged toward the doorway, brunette bangs falling across delicate cheeks as he did so. He raised a dainty hand to flick the long strands from his face as he searched the room for a familiar face. "Koizumi!" He called in a higher voice than he was used to, seeing the elegant young man seated at a desk by the window, his light hazel eyes tracing the pages of a book, his fingers stroking down the page before his eyes. At the sound of a familiar voice Koizumi raised his eyes with his usual charming smile. "Kyonko! Good morning; what brings you here?" He asked in his usual silken tone, not a flicker of surprise in his expression. Kyon's mouth dropped as he contemplated the words that had just come out of his friend's mouth. "Kyon...ko?" Kyon stammered in disbelief. Just what in the hell had Haruhi done?

"Yes?" Koizumi replied uncertainly as he got to his feet and joined Kyon in the doorway. It was strange; Koizumi looked much taller than usual, and seemed bulkier. Kyon had to remind himself that it wasn't Koizumi who'd changed at all. From Koizumi's confusion Kyon had to guess that whatever Haruhi had done, she'd altered the minds of everyone but his. Why did she keep doing this to him? "Are you feeling quite well?" Koizumi asked, a large hand resting lightly on Kyon's petite shoulder. "Yes! I mean no, I mean...not really." Kyon replied as he almost jumped back. He didn't enjoy Koizumi's touchy-feely attitude when he was in his own body; he enjoyed it even less when his body had been...altered. Koizumi ran a troubled hand through his hair as he regarded his friend. "Perhaps we should go somewhere more...private." He suggested gently, Kyon nodding in agreement as he looked around the crowded corridors, noticing his classmates staring and whispering. It wasn't that unusual to see him with Koizumi; at least he didn't think it was. What's gotten into everybody? Kyon led the way, almost stumbling as his heel slipped. He could feel his cheeks burning as Koizumi voiced his concern. How can girls wear these shoes? They're so...dainty! He thought as they stepped into the library. "Koizumi, what exactly do you know about me?" Kyon asked as his friend slid the door shut. Koizumi considered for a moment as he began idly scanning the shelves. "That's a broad question...You're a second year high school student, your name is Kyonko, you're part of the SOS Brigade with Miss. Nagato, Miss. Asahina, Mr. Suzumiya and myself...you have a younger sister...and right now you're looking perplexed." Koizumi concluded with a puzzled head tilt. "Mr? You mean...Haruhi's a..." Kyon trailed off. "You mean Haruki surely." Koizumi corrected.

Haruki? So it wasn't just me that she changed. Kyon thought warily, though he couldn't imagine her reasoning. "Kyonko, are you sure you're quite well?" Koizumi asked, his usual smile slipping momentarily as he took in the brunette's troubled expression. "Koizumi, this is going to sound crazy, but I'm not Kyonko! My name is Kyon and I'm a boy!" Kyon insisted, watching his psychic friend tilt his head. He wasn't dismissing the idea offhand, after all stranger things had happened. "And 'Haruki' isn't a boy; her name is Haruhi, Haruhi Suzumiya." The brunette insisted as he leaned on the edge of a desk with his arms folded. The desk felt higher than usual, his rump barely meeting the edge, and as he folded his arms he could feel his breasts press together slightly. "Perhaps it would be best to start at the beginning." Koizumi suggested, averting his gaze from Kyon's cleavage and taking a seat behind one of the empty desks.
