Wisdom Teeth

So tomorrow I will be getting my wisdom teeth removed... Yep, super happy fun time for me~<3 Ahahahahahahahahahahaha....haha.... ha.... 8| Anyway, I've heard a bunch of different stories from friends and family about about this. Some people say that it's the worst experience of their whole life, while others say that it wasn't a big deal and they healed quickly. I've also heard some funny stories... When my friend woke up after getting her wisdom teeth removed, she babbled on about seeing unicorn. Another friend of mine would cry spontaneously for no reason. My friend was laughing when she told me this, so I didn't feel bad about laughing too... To be honest I probably would have laughed regardless because I'm a horrible person... But whatever! :D Anyway, I was wondering if you all had any interesting stories about getting your wisdom teeth removed(If you have, that is)?

I haven't had my wisdom teeth removed, but I should probably do that soon. And also why are they called wisdom teeth. Don't they provide you with wisdom. Or do you gain wisdom from pulling them out?

In my experience the worst part was getting them pulled itself, after that it's just a matter of being careful about what you eat and drink for a while.

I had all four of mine done with one of them started impacting. It wasn't that bad. I went with my friend the day before to yogurtland and stocked up on frozen yogurt and like popsicles. Went the next morning and the doctor was asking me what i did and what's yogurtland and then I got knocked out. Woke up with my face all swollen and went home with my dad laughing at me the whole way. I was worried when I got it done because you always hear that it's painful but honestly I don't remember much, if any pain. I didn't take any of my pain meds. It just really sucked to not be able to eat real food. Just remember take your antibiotics all the way if your doctor prescribes them, don't stop just cause you think you're better

So false alarm... Not getting my wisdom teeth out until next month :U We just went in to talk with the oral surgeon today. @neetone: That's what I heard XP It's bad afterwards. @Xueli: Stocked up on frozen yogurt xD Awesome! But yeah... I will definitely remember to take my pain meds.

If they put gauze pads in your mouth afterwards, replace them often when they get bloody. Also you accidently swallow too much blood you will vomit and it will not be happy times :(
