Lacking the opposite gender

Do you think lacking the opposite gender is a very big obstace to date? At my work almost all my workmates (the only female workmate is my aunt) are men from mid 40's to mid 70's, the few girl friends I have are from cons and I see them like 7-8 times a year, so I've lost a lot of contact with girls since 5 years ago when I was in college. Do you think I still have a chance? Have you been in a similar situation?

Yeah that could can be a bit of a problem, but at the same time dating coworkers can be a bad idea. Just try finding yourself a place where you can hang out when not at work where you can meet new people. Like the mall or a park or a library.
