valkyria chronicles

Any fans of the valkyria chronicles series here? I recently got around to playing the third installment after finding out there's a fan made translation for it.

Such a great series. Played all 3 multiple times. I love how unique and fresh the game feels compared to other strategic rpgs and such.

Yeah I played them all. I actually wish there were more Strategy Rpg's like it. Or just more real Strat Rpg's in general lol. Miss the days of all the tactics games and old school front mission.

Indeed, hard to find a decent rpg nowadays. Japan still makes pleanty, but hardly any come over. And the ones that do, are not really that great most the time.

Maybe... but it's Sega we're talking about. They hate money! Hopefully with success VC on Steam got, they understand that they have a good thing going on and do something with it.

It's pretty awesome! I played the second and third games on the PSP. I'll probably get the Steam release of the original this Christmas.
