Do you feel like anime has given you impossible to meet standards or expectations from real people?

My standards and expectations don't change from seeing anime. It's fictional and real people aren't like how shows depict them.

One anime that didn't meet the standards of 2D was "Ping Pong The Animation." I was hoping that one be a good one, yet 5 seconds into the anime I just couldn't stand the "2D ART" in the anime. That one sucked. And, it just aired this year.

What usagimodoki said, though it's probably increased my school uniform/Asian schoolgirl fetish. Though there aren't any around here.

@ScarHead I would beg to differ. Ping Pong The Animation was amazing despite the art style being uncomfortable for many. I quickly got over it since it actually fits quite well. Lastly, 2D > 3DPD.
