Anyone up for skype?

Yeah... hum. again. As i said before, that's not gonna work. Plus, this section is more in the ways of people meeting up irl for anime/vidya related stuff... as in conventions and whatnot.

Dude has the right idea though. I mean, not about the section for this. About Skype. I've got to get over some serious shyness issues.

Any particular reason? I seems many gals are doing the skype thing. Might be a good way to break the ice before the inevitable unease of meeting someone for the first time.

Not any particular reason, just a personal preference. When meeting people online i prefer having the conversation via text. It's a good way for the both of us to be able to think about the kind of first impression we're giving. I've won over my shyness and I'm really sociable nowadays but when it comes to online, i still prefer having that initial shield just in case. Then when the relationship grows, I see no problem with video chatting, but not before.
