Hello all fellow otaku

Social interaction has never been my forte but now that I'm moved out and in a job I am looking for more since I have no friends around from high school and only a couple from college I would like to meet many people and be a little less lonely anyways before I get too off topis hello to all fellow otaku.

Thanks for the welcome. I just kinda lost touch with friends from highschool and was not very social and went to a small college, people at work are really nice though.

Already more welcomes than the amount of people I regularly talk to. That seemed lonelier than it really is since I'm a strong believer in a few really close friends

It's all about quality vs quantity. At my first serious job everyone was at least 20 years older than me and in completely different places in their lives. Seems you lucked out on that one. Also, if you dare venture into Facebork, there's a group called "Otaku Meet Otaku". Worth checking out.

Quality>Quantity in my honest opinion most of the time especially with relationships only really ever been with one person and I really did luck out with my coworkers the bad part is though I don't want to stay there long since it is a call center :( and as for facebook I like to stay as far away from it as possible don't want my relatives who never really interact with me to start inviting me to things I will feel obligated to go to or the apps that I will inevitably be sucked into if I go there but thanks for the suggestion even though it is in the book of faces where I dare not tread.
