Fav kind of anime ?

everything but mainly romance preferably something with multiple genres that gives a wide spectrum of different ideas with quirky characters

Mecha/Comedy/Romance/Slice of Life in that order

Mostly, when Im searching on anime planet for ideas, I end up browsing the following categories. Ecchi, Maid, Comedy and Slice of Life. I know that makes me look like some kind of pervert and to a degree, I am a guy, I am going to like these things, accept it as natural. However, a lot of these series are often light-hearted and have nice storylines and characters. I like animes where a group of girls is fighting over the same guy and their silly attempts to get his attention. It makes me laugh (and wish I had something similar going on...). So for series like those, the fan service part of it is just like the added bonus to me!

Romance (both harem/love triangles and couples) and comedy (especially slice-of-life), especially when they cross over. I love super-sad series (curse you, Kanon!), but can rarely stand to finish them without spacing them out over a VERY long time (otherwise it gets too sad). I like a lot of deconstructive series, too, especially ones that choose not to break down a genre but rather break it into parts and reassemble the pieces into something new and interesting yet slightly self-aware. I also like occult and philosophical series, like Black Butler and xxxHolic, but beyond the genres I've already mentioned I don't really prefer genres, but rather individual series from genres.

i pretty much like shonen mangas, but asides from that i like harem mangas with a twist of romance with abit of action every once in a while, comedy is always a good thing
