will glasses mess my eyes up

so my eye sight is pretty descent i cant read numbers from far away and my parents think i need glasses but i have a suspicion that ill be dependent on the glasses if i wear them and i wont see how i do now if i wear them. i meen like ill be so used to seeing out of them that when i take them off i really will need glasses

Nothing wrong with being dependent on glasses if it keeps you from walking into walls. They are generally meant to improve ones vision over time. I am guessing it simply Depends on the persons eyes. As an added bonus you can do pretty neat stuff with your glasses those without will get jealous of. Like the Signature Pushing up your glasses when you have an excited idea.
