We used to do Mai Otaku meetups like once a month here in SoCal, but only about 10% of the people who said they were going to show actually showed, so sometimes we hang out. I don't go to CSUN myself but I'm in the area frequently.

What do you like to do for fun? Have you tried the Irish pub on Reseda. Really nice place. The starbucks on balboa is always a nice place to meet people also. Not to mention the CSUN CLUBS!
