i hurt my wrist really bad hangcleaning

my left hand hurts i cant curl a dumbell nor can i do really anything else. i believe i was not doing it properly cause you have to shoot your elbows up but i didnt i trie to lift everything with my wrists and now there hurt. the strange part about it is that the pinky side of my left hand is really the only spot where it is hurt at how long do you guys think it will take to heal.

I dunno man, you may wanna see a doc about that. I was born having kinda double jointed wrist, they even pop endlessly. I have no problem on incline or regular stuff, but when I curl, espically a straight bar, it hurts really bad. I hurts to the point where I can't do it. I don't want you to get like that so go see a doctor and see what's up with that.

i did see a doctor about it he thinks that i just pulled something and if its not better in two weeks come back and of course its been two weeks and i still have the pain. i actually take weight training at school and because of that they make me lift even tho my wrist is hurt they just say oh its not that bad get ovr the pain but they clearly dont no how bad it hurts. i want to get a cast like the kind you get when you break a arm because hopefully that way it will heal, and another thing is just like the tiniest things will hurt it and make it bad again/

Yeah, go back to the doctor. And also see about getting a wrist brace so you don't permanently hurt your wrist man. Don't strain yourself by curling right now that's the opposite of what you need to do of it hurts like that

Did the doc take an xray of it? Cuz that seems like it could be a big problem if you ignore it

I've gotten minor carpel tunnel in my wrist before from masturbating too much, I'm sure you all wanted to know that, lol. (sarcasm)

I had a similar pain a while ago, but after 2 days it went away but my pain was because of weight lifting, idk how serious ur case is though

i mean as soon as i lifted the weight up a really bad pain entered my hand and it hurt extremely bad to move it afterwords he doctor said he doesnt thnk its fractured but if it hurts after 2 weeks come back

You'll be fine. Do not ice. Take NSAIDs. Honestly, some may disagree, roll it out with a tennis/lacrosse ball(about 10 minutes, hard, it's going to hurt, maybe 2-3 times daily. When you're done it won't hurt. Resist urge to lift). While it's probably joint pain, you need to remove the lactic acid from your adrenal glands to allow recovery at the cellular level. Let it rest for a week or two, as hard as it is to go without lifting once you get into it. For better information you may want to consult a body building website over an otaku website. Lol
