This generation will never know what it's like to wait all week to see a block of cartoons on Saturday

Meh... I have my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dvd collection , all is well and yes it's the one with the turtle van as the holder. I haven't even bothered to see what tripe this generation watches...Well, I do like SpongeBob and a couple of ones on cartoon network, but I miss abc and fox from when I was a kid. Some of my first animes were things like monster rancher and digimon. Now? I'm not even sure that there's anything that's really big as in, it will be remembered fondly when they grow up.

Monster Rancher had my first anime crush. Pixie was amazing. Though I was sad when they stopped airing Cartoons on Fox. Come to think or it didn't DBZ come on Fox at one point?

I remember dbz late at night in cartoon network, but then they took it down

I remember watching Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Pokemon, Card Captors, Digimon, Monster Rancher, Yugioh, One Piece and probably a bunch of other anime that I've forgotten. In those days there was barely any anime to go around what with there only being 56k dialup internet. You could get four episodes of a series on VHS for 20$.

dbz is huge in Mexico, they still air it, I guarantee you every mexican kid loves or has at least seen/heard about it

Heck, I remember being able to see Mexican DBZ here on Telemundo. Couldn't understand a lick of it though. I wouldn't end up taking any Spanish classes till a few years later. Oh! And Samurai Pizza Cats- No, wait. I think that was weekdays, along with Sailormoon.
