I have never received any of those reactions. Who actually goes around talking crap like that? Don't listen to other people, do you, and if you enjoy watching anime dont let anyone stop you or make you doubt yourself.

we all receive bad feedback time and time again the trick is to start ignoring the useless feedback. don't let it bother you just enjoy the things you enjoy and live life.

My sister was like that since she entered middle school. Shes alot nicer now though because her husband plays war shooters all day driving her nuts. XD yeah I still get weird looks and made fun of in public because of what I like, heck sometimes the guy orgirl at the cashier wont deal with me and walk away sending someone else to help me when I want to buy anime. I use to snap at things like that but im better now.
