Do you still use a dvd/blu-ray drive on your computer?

I'm researching parts for a multimedia/gaming computer build and noticed that many people don't want and don't use dvd/blu-ray disc drives anymore on their computers. I specifically want one for blu-ray playback and disc copying and M-disc storage. How many of you still use one? I want to collect blu-ray movies and anime series on dvd (still haven't seen Advent Children Complete)!

I use a dvd drive on my computer. Good luck finding drivers/players for blu-ray drives. Some had success using VLC as a program to go along with their blu-ray drive.

I'm going to dual boot Windows 7 and Mint Linux (Ubuntu with codecs pre-installed). I'll find drivers somewhere, I'm not worried. I might even triple boot with OS X if I decide I want to go through the trouble. Looking at getting a Corsair 250D mini-itx case and motherboard. It has a 5.25" drive space so I'm looking at getting:

I was just surprised at the number of people who have no interest in disc drives anymore.

With 128GB quad layer writable discs it still seems like a good option for storage. Though I'm more interested in blu-ray playback.
