Dyed Hair

I was just curious as to how many otaku like colored hair on their S.O. IRL seeing as many anime characters have odd hair color. Personal opinion? I dye my hair, and I love girls that dye theirs. What do the people of MaiOtaku think?

I admire people who have the guts and dedication for having colorful hair. I'm a suckered for lighter hair color and I always wanted to streak my hair light blue but I can't because my job won't allow it.

I love it, the crazier, the better. However, as a hairstylist, I hate seeing people with neon colors that don't take into account the integrity of their hair. If you're going to bleach and bleach and bleach to get that perfect color, please do conditioning treatments :'(

Ugh, I hate that! I've bleached my hair about 2-3 times over to get an almost white look to it. It gets so dry some days i need to condition it multiple times when I shower >:( P.S. Still worth it, love how it looks.

Have you ever tried using toners? Once you get a pale yellow after bleaching, get a purple toner and you should have platinum/white hair. If you bleach to white, your hair could fall out and it does a lot of damage to your scalp. Also, you could use purple shampoos for maintenance. Invest in a leave-in conditioning treatment, they have decent ones at Sally's. You leave it in for 20 minutes and rinse it out once a week. They have more protein in them than regular conditioners to get it back to health
