Large man needs to fix himself

lokiy
Frankly, i've been over 200 pounds( around 260 or so right now) for a good chunk of my life. I want to see the difference between, big jolly me, and big yet somewhat fit and bulky me. basically i want to slim down a wee bit , for making sure i can be as healthy as can be....as well as cosplay those cosplays that i want to be that perfect fit for. Main goal as of now: Captain Bravo But enough of this larger mans rambling. I was wondering if anyone had you know, tips or such that could assist me in a way. Cutting out soda and drinking more water seems to be a good way to start things which will begin. I was told peanut butter is good but as of right now, my roommate is deathly allergic to it soooo, any thoughts? Lokiy~

Protein... Chicken, fish and beans are your friends. Greens, love them and eat them. Water, it is the source of life after all. Exercise, run, walk, jump, anything that makes you sweat. Its really easier than youd think, but people tend to get un their own way. Hell, i went from 260 diwn to 185 eating taco bell ( i do not endorse that diet), of course all i ate were two bean burritos around twice a week from there. It all boils down to will power. If you want it bad enough, you can make it happen.

its simple really, all you have to do is burn more calories than what you consume.

If you have a Wii U, get Wii Fit Plus. If not, work out about 20 - 30 minutes a day to get your body used to working out. Then increase your time if you feel like you need it or can do it. Don't do only Cardio though, go to the gym and do some strength training or some yoga. Don't forget leg day. I ask for Wii Fit Plus because I use that almost every day for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours doing only the games. It's surprisingly a really good workout. I went from 280 to 233 in about 2 months. Now if you were to actually do the real workouts and not just the games, then I'm sure you'll lose a lot more. XD

Regular exercise for an hour a day. Start the circuit out with 10 minutes of jump rope. Sit ups, V-ups, planks, push ups, weights, etc. Drink plenty of water to lose the loose fat. Cut back on pasta, bread, and red meat. You don't have to eliminate them from your diet, just reduce how often you have them. Completely cut out soda and anything with too much processed sugar. While some people say to go with Strength Training, it's not good for losing fat. Captain Bravo (Yay Busou Renkin!) is a lean, Dexterity Build kinda guy. He'd be focused on Endurance more than Strength which is what Cardio's perfect for. Though an extreme training course would be more effective and there are usually lots of women in those...

drinking lots of water and walking does the trick! I wouldn't start out doing to much, build your way up slowly and it gets easier! Swimming is the easiest exercise!

I know it sounds gross but spinach and kale smoothies/juice apparently work wonders. Not even just that. Juicing in general. It's a pretty hard diet to follow but you will see results super quick maybe even in a week. Now even though vegetable juices tend to do the most fat burning, fruit juice are perfectly fine too. I learned this from a little documentary on Netflix called Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. This man fixed his own life and even influenced another to go on this diet and they both look amazing and glowing. Of course after losing the weight, they don't strictly drink juice anymore. But its important to talk to your dietarian/physician/doctor before doing this. If the whole juice thing is too rough, consider replacing snacks with fruit. also, NEVER skip meals. It leads to a slower metabolism.
