You said ladies? *Grabs weave*
*Ahem* I would wait. Sex is not all that great when it's baseless. Though I say that after bedded a decent amount of women, I truly do not think it's worth it. If you have no self-control, you'll maybe become a pervert, or just a horn-dog. Not only that, but it's somewhat dehumanizing (for me at least) to have sex with multiple people, after a while, you feel either conceited or like an object; which is funny because that's usually what the women like to say. My last gf actually ditched me because I wanted to do it at a romantic time, not on my bed while mom's in the next room. Haven't had sex in two years, nor even kissed a girl at that, and when I do meet a girl I like, I will keep it that way.

I think it's more important to TALK about sex than to actually DO sex before marriage. Because, well you pretty much have to talk about every aspect of life before even considering getting married, ESPECIALLY life style stuff and how you live in a house, or you may have trouble down the line when you find out your husband/wife doesn't like how you do this/that and you refuse to or cannot change.
Same goes for finding roommates, actually, only without the sex part.
I've heard of best friends who room with each other for college, only to never talk to each other again afterwards, because their living habits clashed badly, and the lack of communication gradually piles up with little peeves and they eventually explode into a huge drama argument or something.

Wow 4 years, this is a random stale thread to raise from the dead wallace lol. I agree crimson baseless sex gets old. Kohagura I know exactly what you mean about roommates that end up hating each other. Sometimes you find out your best friend lives like a pig when you were not looking lol.
I applaud those who want to wait until marriage but they have to be on the same page intimacy-wise or they are headed for difficult times. I have met very few few women I would trust in such a gamble as I will only get married once if ever. If you look at the reasons for the ~53%(and rising) divorce rate in first 10 years of marriage in this country you will notice issues related to intimacy are usually very high on the list.

Honestly, I think marriage and sex isn't even necessary to "prove your love".
My aunt(mother of a 23-yr old daughter) and uncle have been living together for over 18 years before they even married, and there just was zero difference between their relationship before and after the wedding. It was just something required for government papers and stuff to say "hey, we're a family", even though everyone already saw them as a family for those 18+ years before they married.
They should just make civil union or cohabitation be available, and keep marriage/weddings as a separate optional thing. I hate how I have to marry to become a family with someone and be able to legally do things humans have done without marriage before churches came into power, when I do not believe in the concept of marriage.
Not saying there's anything wrong with celibacy, people can do what they want, but I just hate how we have these laws pinned to us and we have to follow them or suffer even though we're not hurting anyone by not following them.

Considering most girls WANT sex, it is quite important to them. Just like how most guys want sex as well.
I personally don't give a fuck about sex. Loving someone without touching them is mentally and emotionally more effective in the relationship than fucking that someone.

Kohagura - My neighbors were like that they got married for their 30th un-aniversary lol. Bonds are made between people by something stronger than paper. Intimacy and Sex are part of the balance to maintain a healthy relationship. It's weight and importance will vary from person to person. It is not proving love but sometimes does punctuate it or is the barometer of relations. They need to be on the same page or it may be difficult in the long run.
dream - The desire for sex is biological in part. Some are compelled more than others. For women having an orgasm releases a hormone that lowers their chemical stress levels. Some do want sex as it's a very pleasant way to heal the body and allow their biological functions to keep working healthfully. Men's drive for sex is more primal and artificially raised by puberty in levels not seen in women until they are 35. Men used to die fast so they are wired to reproduce fast. It a cruel opposing curve for men and women, the sex drive. Men also get an indirect stress reliever out of the act of sex. The word conquest comes to mind because that's the mental trigger that does it to our brains to release a hormone that lowers stress. Men have to achieve, overcome, or win something for instance. When men overcome sources of stress their body rewards them with a shot of testosterone which is what kills the chemical stress in their bodies. Another reason successful men attract women, they literally wreak of testosterone triggering a hormone in women that is a detector of high TS.
Humans are cut from the same cloth as animals but we get the benefit of being able to override it as long we do not do it too much too fast or the body breaks down.

Doesn't everyone know this? Lol.
I didn't want to explain the specifics so I just dumb-ed it down saying most people want to have sex.

You would think the world did know. The state of affairs in the world however lead me to another conclusion. My niece's are in high school in your town actually. School does not teach the same things I was taught in school, like the names of states, countries, capitals, civics, biology. It's all PC propaganda it seems. One of them insisted their teacher said Seattle, not Olympia, was the capital of WA. We don't even teach kids the capital of their own state properly anymore.*face2desk*

It's not Seattle? I think that's what they taught in my schools too... @_@
But, It's true that the lessons in schools aren't always up to date...
Like many history/science books are really outdated with misproven things being taught(like Pluto, for example).
Without an intellectual teacher, they'll just teach whatever is in those outdated books.
I think I may have been lucky that my science/history teachers were usually pretty smart on their own and would add in notes/corrections to things in books.
