Hello. I'm a new guy. If you feel like knowing a new guy, then you might find I meet your criteria of both newness and guyness, since I am a guy who is new, afterall.

Thank you both for taking the time to make me feel welcome. Since people took the time to greet me, I should probably provide a little more information: I'm in the process of leaving home and should be all settled in my own house by the end of the month. Anything dark or grim generally peaks my interest. I prefer stories where the heroes don't always win, that's just boring! I have a fondness for all things creepy crawly, and have a growing collection of exotic insects, arachnids and the like. I'm an avid pokemon gamer, and rather predictably I always specialist in Bug-types! And here's a plot twist... I also like anime! I find anime openings especially addicting. I've been dancing to the 2nd opening of Brynhildr in the Darkness for over a week now.

Thankies. I don`t have a large space for more. But I like them!!! I`m just concerned that I`ve never seen Titus eat. 0_0 I know he`s alive, I clean his space every day but... the food I put I don`t think he eats. Maybe he is lonely. o(╥﹏╥)o

How long have you had him? I find mine go crazy for a slice of orange. This is no longer the Mr.Red Introduction thread. This is now the Titus appreciation thread.

About two weeks. No body buys oranges in my house. v_v I shall go shopping then!! I have his jelly, crushed dog food, I usually give him grapes, carrots, blueberries, romaine lettuce. He usually is in his hide though. Sometimes I see him in different spots. Maybe he`s not comfortable or he is ill. v_v I plan to purchase more as I really enjoy their company. But as far as creepy crawlies, I think I`ll stick with these guys. Though, I`ll stay away from females. I don`t want any babies I think I`d faint.

Good idea. I started with four, which over the past couple of years multiplied into a couple of hundred. I have other species of roach that I use for feed for my less-friendly critters, but when mature the hissers are just too big and tough for anything to sink their teeth into. They're now split into two separate enclosures, one for the males and one for the females - No more roach hanky panky! >8( I wouldn't worry too much if you've only had him two weeks, each individual roach doesn't eat that much, unless you've got a heat wave going on, or they're excited because N.Korea fiddling with their nukes again.
