So, I've just got out of a 11 month long-distance relationship (my second relationship ever) that ended in a messy breakup. He said he wasn't emotionally prepared to deal with a relationship at the moment, I said 'fine', then I found out a week before he said that to me (and a mere 2 weeks after he'd said to me that his feelings for me would never change) he'd started dating someone else. So he was essentially two-timing me, and I went crazy and shouted at him, deleted him from everything, boom. That was about 2 days ago.
Problem is, before that, he was great. He was really kind, complimentary, shared the same tastes in anime and games, was good-looking, etc etc. Now I'm starting to worry I'll never find someone that will like me ever again (paranoia, I know, but hormones go crazy after a breakup.) Someone, please reassure me that there are other people out there like him (The good points, at least)? My own self-assurance isn't doing it, lol. ^^;

Long-term long distance relationships are tough. Which is why I don't bother. For me it would only be OK if I already knew the person face to face and I was going to see them in a month or two or three. But at least for me, I need physical contact. Some guys are OK with it but it would be difficult for many to turn down an immediate flesh and blood temptation for a long distance girl they may not see for a long time.
But this is a good place to start for finding people who are open to the idea of long distance relationships.
