To all MMO players....

Heals in guild wars 2 are kinda different. Everyone has the ability to heal and each class has like three different types of heals. I think most of the heals are self target, but I do believe there are some heals that are multi target. You can also splash heal. In gw2 certain attacks throw down fields on the ground. When you do certain actions, they will active the field and trigger different effects including healing. If you blast on water fields, it heals people mid light. If you blast a light field, it gives people chaos armor.

Like gamer said, most classes can tweak themselves to do group healing, but I can't say that you have a ton of variety, one of the things I miss greatly from GW1. But you can use boons and conditions such as Protection, Aegis(blocks next incoming attack), Blindness( next outgoing attack misses) and weakness ( reduces outgoing damage by 50%) to negate a good sum of damage along with your healing, honestly a well places block can go way further then globs of healing. Also Light field gives Retaliation & Condition removal, it's the ethereal field that gives Chaos armor. So no I can't say its very flexible, GW2 tends to reward well timed actions vs utility.

Thank goodness for Wildstar! Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to gank and camp like the good old days in WoW in world pvp. I was really into GW2, FF14, and Tera.

You haven't PvP'd until you've played Dark Age of Camelot. It's an old school MMO, skill based timing of attacks, if you spam buttons you lose. In it's heyday you could easily get 80+ people in open world PvP fighting over a keep. Also I loved my cleric in Rift, haven't played in years.

The gankee, always. I suck at PVP, and especially now that in WoW, on Timeless Isle people can become hostile with their own faction in order to get blood coins from kills...yeah. I've learned enough survival skills to get to the guards sometimes, but it's just not fun. I spend as little time on the isle as possible.
