Hey all, thought I would add my flier to the pile. History My name is Cody, 25 years old. Born in Oregon, raised in Hawaii, went to high school in Montana and College in Washington. I may end up moving to Oregon soon due to work, but I'm not sure yet. I'm at a point where I can go where I please and there isn't much holding me back from doing so. My ideal climate is anything less than 75f (or 24c), not a fan of hot weather. Traits I am a 6ft tall Caucasian male with Blond hair, color changing eyes (Blue/Green/Grey depending on the light), glasses, and a reserved personality. To better define "reserved": I may come across as shy talking to or meeting people in real life. Sometimes it is shyness, other times I am analyzing the situation to develop a proper response. I'm not a good talker when I don't know what to say. I am a little overweight at 208 lbs, but I started eating healthy and exercising earlier this year and have lost 40lbs so far. Skills Strategy, analysis, and logic are my main weapons. Games - I'm good at games, or at least above average. Doesn't matter if it's card games, video games, board games, mind games. I'm always up for a challenge. Cooking - I am actually a good cook. I can make things tasty, partially because I love trying new foods. I haven't made some of my better tasting dishes in a while though because of my goal to eat healthier. Thankfully eating healthier still means trying new tasty foods. :) As an example, my dinner tonight was something new to me, a homemade pizza with a twist; the crust was made of cauliflower, and the sauce was avocado. Actually pretty good. Computers - I am a techie to the core. I am good with technology and enjoy learning about new things being developed. Sometimes I end up being the go-to computer doctor for the neighborhood, but that's fine. This is also related to my work. I get to build up expensive enterprise servers...Then try to break them >.<. It's a lot of fun. Programming/scripting - I may not be the greatest when it comes to programming, but I did take the time to learn 3 major programming languages, 2 minor, and 4 scripting languages. I will say with confidence that I am good at scripting. It now takes me 2 weeks or less to learn a new programming/scripting language. Helping people - I can't resist helping people. Just one example: I tutored an old Korean guy for 3 years (unpaid) because he said his American dream was to get a college degree on something he wasn't familiar with (computers). He did this as a challenge to himself; he worked hard. Seung now has a Bachelors' Degree. I have the super power of understanding; in a conversation between two others: one person can explain something to the other. I will understand both what that person meant and what the other person thinks he/she meant. Even though I don't know the languages, people can speak to me in Korean, Vietnamese, and Japanese and I am able to understand them (but then I respond in English and it doesn't work the other way XD). It doesn't seem to work very well on the internet, likely due to the lack of body language. Interests Anime, cooking, gaming, computers & technology [edit] I listen to a lot of music. I have had a phase for most genres of music and can appreciate them. I'm not a fan of country though. You can thank "Cheeseburger in Paradise" for that. Some of the phases I have gone through: 90's pop, metal, screamo, parody, anything with a guitar, violin, or piano, brass, orchestra, punk, anime themes, japanese and french music, touhou, game music, kawaii-metal, alternative rock, nightcore, and EDM. Lately I have been listening to EDM nonstop (house, bounce, big room, trap, dubstep, hardcore, hardstyle, drumb and base, glitch hop, breakbeat, chill, drumbstep, and trance). [end edit] Goals Work - I have already met my career goals and I think it can only upgrade from there. I would be fine with working my way into leadership of my current company. If I find an opportunity, I may move on to Cyber Security (FBI/NSA/Private). Health - I've already mentioned that I have started eating healthy and exercising and lost some weight. My original goal was to be less than 200lbs, but now I'm not sure where I will stabilize. Love - I hope to find someone special and get married someday. It would be a huge plus if that person shared an interest in anime. I can't think of anything else to say... I think that shyness is..a really cute trait in girls...So don't be afraid to message me. Well I figured this would be the best way to introduce myself to the website Bio: My name is Brandon, I am 24 years old and six feet tall and a little chunky. I have blue eyes and dark brown hair. Hobbies: watching anime, playing video games, cosplaying, and sleeping. To expand on this though I actively play Destiny, World of Warcraft, Blade and Soul, Digimon World Cyber Sleuth, and Overwatch currently. I'm always willing to branch into other games though if I have someone to play them with. Other favorites outside of what I currently play though are any of the Pokemon games, mostly any Final Fantasy game although my memory of anything before seven is terrible and even then seven is a bit shaky on remembering it. I've played a ton of free mmo type games too like Tales of Pirates, DOMO, Scarlet Blade, Dragons Prophet, Guild Wars (only the first didn't make it very far in GW2 to claim i played it) but mostly stopped playing those games because nobody else played them. Music: I listen to everything! As I grew up I had phases of all types of music from rock to rap to metal to pop and can still remember most the words too. The more common things that I listen to currently are Blink 182, Falling in Reverse, Hopsin, Tech N9ne, Pierce the Veil, Cascada, or whatever pops up in my playlist although I've been known to go out of my way to pull up an old Backstreet Boys album or something. I really love anime. It's one of my favorite things in life. For the most part it's the only thing you'll catch me watching except the occasional tv show usually superhero related like Daredevil or the Flash. My favorite animes are really hard to pick since it changes often but the ones that have stuck with me and I will often go back and rewatch are Dragon Ball Z, Highschool DxD, Dragonaut, Yugioh (up until the seal of orichalcos arc, kinda loses my attention after that), Sword Art Online, .hack//(any of them), Yu Yu Hakusho, and Onegai Teacher. Given there are several others but it's so hard to pick a favorite. I do occasionally watch some Hentai but there's not many good ones to be honest so it's a rare thing. Also on the same note I love anything ecchi. When it comes to ecchi in anime I guess I'm a bit of a perv but in a good way(collections of sexy figurines, wall scrolls, and prints) Fun facts about me: I'm color blind so if it's ever a question of colors I'll probably either mismatch the colors or be completely wrong about what color something is. It's quite funny when people try to understand what I see compared to them What I am looking for : Well someone special, but I don't want to find someone just to jump into a relationship and start that path without getting to know them. I want to find someone that shares the same interests as me, likes playing the same games as me and is willing to actually play them not just say they do, someone to watch anime with and talk about our favorite parts or introduce eachother to other animes. I want to get to know the real you and then fall in love with who you are. Distance is not an issue and age not a big issue just be kinda close to me, as long as everything clicks it will work out in the end, I do not like cigarettes and would not be able to be with someone who does however I am 420 friendly both recreational and medicinal. That being said its a chill at home play games and watch anime thing not a go party and get crazy kinda thing. Also I do hope to have a kid/s some day but not quite yet so I can't say Id be open to someone who has one already as I'm just not prepared for it yet.
