Name is Phil. Mainly here to expand my social circle since while grad school has many diverse people, not too many new people to speak about anime with. Let's see, 27 years old in California. I used to be big into mecha anime and heavily plot focused shows. These days, anything floats atop my MAL rankings if they're well written and the characters are engaging. Recent memory draws up Ping Pong The Animation and Tatami Galaxy. Others would be Shirobako and currently (so far) ERASED. Outside anime, reading and racquetball. *looks around* well hello everyone!!!! The name is *thinks for a moment* you can call me Mr.Kyo, since I do not know whether or not everyone here is using real names. My name I rather unique and, after lots of searching, is one of the most uncommon names in the entire U.S.! Anywho, I'm 19yrs of age and I have found myself in a rut....life has become rather dull for me (not depressed FYI) and, after my father made a suggestion to me over the phone, I've decided to look for something new to do. So here I am today, looking for new friends to talk too and possibly a relationship to start and flourish as time goes on. I've always had a huge love for anime but nobody else in my friend group, besides 2 brothers, feel the same way that I do. I've loved watching anime and I hope to go to a convention pretty soon. I'm just looking for a nice girl too talk too and befriend. I don't exactly have much to offer *scratches back of head* but I do put my heart and soul into relationships. Sadly each one thus far has reached an end for various reasons, all of them though despised anime (go figure) anywho, I'll just about wrap it up. Name: Tyler Age: 20 Height: 5'10 Straight Never been good at doing this type of thing but why not give er' a go, keep it short and sweet while i'm at it. Aboot me: Where to start.. I guess I'm like a lone wolf in a sense completely independent and don't care much for a group/crowd, I find hanging out in groups of 4 or more to be exhausting -- slowly working on it though -- I rather hang out in bed with a bag of chips and a bottle of Dr.pepper while watching anime than going out and getting drinks or what ever the hell people my age do now a days, I'm pretty forward about things, if you make up a lame joke I will pretty much tell you it sucked. I can't be persuaded easily, if you are trying to get me to do something you better have some sort of plan ready with a few back ups in reserve -- I don't do what I don't want to do -- Other than all that I would say i'm pretty easy going, childish, love to mess around, like to talk and such. I don't have a job at this time just worrying about school right now, will be going to college back to back for 1) Computer Systems Technician 2) Web design/Development... yay... I'm more into older music from before the 90's I guess my father rubbed off on me a lot -- I hate rap, I find that stuff rather annoying when people play it out loud/blasting the damn thing, I will give fair warning to turn it down or put in headphones and if it doesn't I have no issue turfing it out the window. Now the good thing..What I watch; Non-Anime Related things I watch -- not a lot of them trust me.. Game of thrones, Walking Dead and Kitchen Nightmares, I don't really watch TV shows or movies because it's rare for me to find something I can get hooked on. Anime Related; I've been watching anime since a young age.. very young age and pretty much grew up with it I wish I could name every single anime I have seen but over the years I have forgotten the names, and can only remember based on what happened in the anime, unfortunately there has been 1 anime in which I have been searching 5-6 years for.. at the time we had american TV and it was a show aired early in the morning, it looked really damn good too but we were going on vacation and I didn't have enough time to check out the name of the episode, the only thing that lies in my mind is one scene where this girl steps out of her mech (similar to gundams) and was being charged with genocide.. such sadness.. But that aside, some of the anime I have come to love; Clannad, Fairy Tail, Angel Beats, Naruto (inc. Ship), Kaichou wa maid-sama, My LOVE story, arslan senki, Highschool DxD (Only seen first 2 seasons) and Shokugeki no Soma. What I'd look for in a girl is pretty much someone I can goof around with, who wouldn't like to turn their house into a warzone and run around shooting each other with nerf dart guns, go airsofting ect. spend the whole morning in bed watching anime and gaming or for the petite girls sitting in the guys lap and gaming xD I don't care much for looks, just someone who I can get along with.
