Best advice for looking finding a girl with similar interests?

Most of the girls I run into don't really have that much in common with me. My interests would probably consist of Anime, Video games, Manga, and the sort. Where would be a good place I could find someone like this, though? I would think cons, but their few and far between, and I don't seem to have much luck commuting with that many new people there. Any advice would be very appreciated.

Well the thing about this is that this site alone based on my observation does not net relationships highly. I would make a suggestion though you could try to be active on here but at the same time find groups near you besides cons like social meetups and such in which you might find somebody. Also I have stated this in other threads before but dont be afraid to describe yourself fully including the quirks and such. Just be proactive in trying to look for somebody.

Thanks for the advice, I'l try to keep this in mind. I have gone to quite a few cons, and a small number of meetups, but again, not much luck with meeting new people. If the key word is "active", then I guess that's something I could work on. I guess I could also try to be more active on this forum, as well, considering that this would be a potential point of meeting people, if at the very least to make new friends.
