My Problem

Hi, Most of you won't know me because I recently registered. The reason that I registered was because I thought maybe here I could actually express how I feel without being judged. So, personally I don't know what's wrong with me. I don't know why small things affect me so much. For example when I posted a introduction and nobody said anything I felt kinda, well, not wanted. Like I'm already not liked by people even though it's only been a few hours. It made me sad but to a large extend. I didn't cry or anything, promised myself to never cry again, but it just added to my sadness. I'm not asking for forgiveness or for people to start to acknowledge me. I feel like the only reason I'm writing this is too seek attention and be acknowledged... To be honest I don't know why I do things, why I made this post, why I joined. I think I do know but I really don't. I'm a confusing being and I don't know where I'm going with this. Well, thank you for reading this, whatever it is. It probably indirectly displays my problem... or not, I don't know. I'm too embarrassed to send this but I will.

It's alright, I didn't get welcomed when I posted either. To be honest, the site isn't really all that popular, and there's very few people actually on the forum. You can always try joining in on the tinychat.com/maiotaku room, there's times where there's a bunch (ish) people on there. But recently a few of our most active members left, so try not to think about it too much if you don't get replies all that often

dude we all feel that way when stuff like that happens your just over thinking things :) we don't have many active people on this site so that's probably why no one commented. buck up and try not to take things to heart :D!

Yeah buji is right on this do not take nobody welcoming you to heart. Here the forums are pretty unactive as of late. Me and the other two along with a few others are some of the only active people on the forums usually besides a few people who post here and there. If anything I am glad you joined the site and hope you make some friends here. Or find somebody if that is what you are after.

yeah, I'm pretty new too. When a forum is not very active, keep in mind that the few active members may have very different timezones, I don't expect immediate responses. Even though it's from a newbie... welcome!

Don't let it bother you. I don't think I even posted an introduction. I can't speak for everyone, but I am not the most social of people, which is an odd thing to say on a site dedicated to social connections. Though, I am more social online than off. /shrug

been here for years...believe it or not i came onn every single day and would stay on it ttil 6 am ish xD or 3 am soeties just 2 a since theres not alot of night owls bbut your wronnnnng with the judgement hun there is new users on here that acted "sweet" then change their personailties on here in a matter of a few months and became rreally judgy trust me been on here for a long time what left are the trolls aand dick heads i cant really be myself on here without them poping up inn my comments they ruined it for me sadily ^^" so do not think you wont get judge on maiotaku you will with the users on here now a days.:/ thats why i barily get on it hurts cause this used to be the only place i can truely be myself.

I agree with Tsundere on the part that people will change from acting sweet to the complete opposite. I'm generally pretty nice, but will say something if it needs to be said, even if it offends someone. Which isn't often though.

I imagine that if the user base grew a little more and there were a few active moderators, things would be a little different. I've not seen a forum like this that doesn't have a group of admins to police the trolls. I would think a site like this would need it in particular, in order to address things like harassment quickly and efficiently to reduce the likelihood of members being scared off by questionable individuals. They could also double as door greeters so to speak, welcoming in the new members.

For the most part this sites user base is friendly. To say something about judging is judgmental in of itself. I don't hide who or how I am. I can be a smart ass, but given the chance I can also be a genuine and caring friend. There are some that have seen me on here for quite awhile and I can guarantee I have not changed nor am I about to(Well, I won't bombard threads with nonsense unless it's a nonsensical thread to begin with.:P). In other words, don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. I do agree that a couple of moderators would make a world of difference though. This site has so much potential, it's just not being used or set up the right way.
