I wouldn't quite say no one has seen these, but Monster, Blue Gender, and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom are all highly overlooked. All those definitely deserve a watch.

one anime I think is too little known is the first anime I ever watched and still love to this day and that's Detective Conan

Ahh Detective Conan still one of my favorites, and I don't it's not known I think the episode count intimidates new comers to anime.

Aldnoah.Zero ...though it's relatively new so that's probably why not very many people have seen it. Still, give it a watch if you haven't seen it.
