is this a smaller follow then i thought

given this site is pretty cool and but everytime i make a friend request which i do alot since its always great to have new friends who are also into anime/video games but when i happen to see the conversation(well mainly the profile pic)i notice that "hey i have him/her as a friend" with just about everyone i add so either im a friend slut or this follow is WAY! smaller then i thought also happens when i join a forum too
