so what got you into anime

I have to say the thing that probly got me hooked on anime is the fact that Bad Stuff can happen in Cartoons (Look at todays cartoons in the US, No one ever dies, or anything like that) and in anime Realistic /Semi-Realistic stuff actually happends. Continueing, When anime was releases it "Was Never Ment For Kids" and that is what sparked my intrest i think, I started with kenshin, then love hina, Dragon ball, Sonic The Hedgehog (Actully is an anime) anywasy that is probly why I Like it.

My 1st issue of shonen jump (found it at a.. Jewel.. Lol). I already watched some stuff like sailor moon, dragon ball, etc but didnt know it was "anime" sooo yeah that shonen jump was like something magical, and i actually still have it! :D not sure where though... Lol

my curiosity :) one day my dad told me to put a show in the computer for a house guess, the little boy told me to put Naruto for him so i did, after he left i saw he left the video on so i started watching, i got hooked, after i cought up with the most recent episodes i decited to look up more animes to entertain myself :)

i can remember dragon ball and magic knight rayearth, also, i guess akazukin cha cha... i could remember watching them when i was seven or eight yr old... haha, it's been along time already... :) so, it just continued until i became an adult...since i find it entertaining..

When I became a DJ, a few friends of mine wanted to show me a few Anime Music Videos made by fans. It made me want to use them on the big screen behind stage as I performed. A few years later, I became known as Western Canada's Premier Anime Video Dance Show DJ! As I started playing more and more music videos, I fell in love with the artistry behind it all, and ended up starting to watch butt loads of anime shows and movies. :)

I started with children anime like Princess Sarah, Heidi, Little women, Cedi and lots of those western tales to Japanese renditions. My interest for anime then broadened when I started to watch Slam dunk, Yuyu hakusho and Sailor Moon.

Good old Sailor Moon! Where my DJ Name originated from, but one of my friends spelt Nephrite wrong, and thought it was spelt Nethlight. lol Was stuck with it ever since. :P

always liked anime .... pokemon, digimon, dbz and such but I got really into anime because of Hatsune Miku ... weirdly enough XD
