If you had superpowers...

Like the title says, if you had superpowers (let's limit it to scientifically possible within the next 20-30 years) What would they be? (multiples are possible) Would you use your powers to be a hero or a villain, or inhabit that grey area in-between? What would your alter ego's name be? How did you come about your powers? So I'll start: Nearly indestructible power suit with highly enhanced speed, strength, hearing, and vision. Possible other abilities if theories prove correct: teleportation (technically using gravity to distort space and 'warp' you to your location) and gravity manipulation within a field around the suit allowing it to create a field capable of catching projectiles. I would probably use my powers for ending military conflicts swiftly and efficiently with as little loss of life as possible (not sure if that'd be considered a 'hero' use) Alter ego's name would probably be Anubis, considering the way the suit would be designed it almost looks like Anubis. I came about my powers through hard work and determination building it myself. That's not to say some of you can't have 'lab accidents' or something like that, or just straight up stealing technology or something like that >.>

I would have the powers of time and space distortion along with the ability to utilize matter and form it into anything. This would come from technology that utilizes millions of nanos to take the resources around me to create things at super fast speeds. I would also have near immortality thanks to the nanos regeneration abilities. I gained my powers through a freak experiment when gaining the nanotechnology that I implanted in my body. It triggered something else which caused me to gain the space and time powers. They are not limitless but are close to it. They allow me to warp the time around me and also create portals so to speak that allow me to appear out of each one in a instant. These abilities come with a cost though I am extremely destructive in any situation due to the effects of the spacial abilities I have. If I do not remain calm and let my emotions get to me this could cause damage on a very big scale. Due to the nature of my abilities I prefer to remain logical and pretty much cold when it comes to emotions. I use these abilities to stop events that only effect things on a major scale. For a example a killer is on the loose will not even get slightly my attention whereas a evil scientist trying to destroy a country or take over the world would. I am not a hero or a villain though and do not see saving people a necessity only ensuring the species stays alive but I also do not go to extremist ideals to do that either. I am a mediatior first and usually spend my time exploring the mysteries around me rather then dealing with other things. My egos name would be Erzeral. The weakness mine has is not physical but emotional he cannot be attached to anybody regardless of how much he cares and thus must continue his existence alone from other people until he can find a way to ensure that people will not be harmed from his powers.

If I had sufficient funds I would utilize genetic material from specifically picked individuals that met my criteria for aesthetic beauty, intelligence, athletics, and utilize additional genetic engineering for specific enhancement and to vastly increase cell life through the use of the enzyme Telomerase to prevent shortening of cells Telomeranes which causes cells to age and engineer resistance to all viruses as well as utilizing advanced healing derived from lizards to regrow limbs. I would clone the engineered genetic material to create my ideal female body which would be designed to stop aging around the age of 13 just before the onset of menstrus (because who wants to deal with that?) And utilize a pseudo-secret Buddhist Tantric technique which does actually exist to astrally project my soul into the new body permenantly. I would also keep additional bodies in suspension just in case. I would then spend decades mastering various forms of martial arts and weapons training and use it to help people and fight various evils. I would be a real life Gothic lolita (secret) superhero!

I would volunteer for genetic mutation to make myself wolf or were-wolf like. Also properties of the Metazoa species so regeneration of limbs and organs are possible. I would have somebody to create a suppressor for these mutation so a normal life can be lead as well. Also a stimulants so I can provoke my ability when needed. I would lean more on the hero side but stay in the grey. Being If I have the best of chances of success I would save the life or lives, but if it was family or myself I would do what ever it takes to save them or survive. My alter ego name is Simple, Wolf.

Thanks for the replies to the thread guys :] Keep 'em coming @Yu It's funny that those are the things you chose, because minus the time space control pretty much everything you described is what I'd be aiming for with my nano research though like you said it's really risky and requires complete control. @vampire_neko Very interesting selections. Though I have to question why you wouldn't just go with a cybernetic body double and use that instead of going through all the trouble of genetic modifications to create your ideal body. Still I like the uniqueness. @Xonjathan Sooo... pretty much like a were-wolf version of Jekyll and Hyde? @Jikokun Yeah you've risen from the grave quite a few times now >.> but I would appreciate it if you would stick to the thread guidelines haha. @╬ ₪ ╬ I would appreciate if you would follow the thread guidelines to format that in some other way, what you want is pretty much possible...though I will admit I don't know the extent of the Rinnegans powers considering I'm not really a naruto fan. @Kodaku na Doutei With a cybernetic implant you could understand anyone better. Not exactly read their minds but you could track their pheromone levels, stress levels, minor facial expression changes, and all that good stuff. So basically you'll be able to not only understand a person almost perfectly, but you'll be able to direct the conversation how you want it to go (in most instances). Now for a bonus question: Would you have a sidekick? If so what do they do for you?

I'd have the power to be a ghost, plus teleportation. I'd go so many places and mess with so many people... Like that haunted house game... Making random objects move. Maybe a little telepathy...
