Thoughts on pot?

Listen, Poptimus Rhyme, nobody cares about how low your intelligence is. No need to brag about it, okay? I'm not "butthurt" as people like you would call it. I'm just trying to find people who share my dislike of something. It doesn't mean I hate people like you who smoke pot. Some of my friends use pot, chill out. Go smoke a little bit, relax, like a good little tool, okay?

I tend to agree with you Shinyumi. I really don't care for pot at all. With that being said though, when you make a thread like this your basically opening your asshole for guys like Poptimus Rhyme here to slither in and start something that makes you out to be the bad guy for your "negative reinforcement" But again. I agree with you Shinyumi, pot has destroyed friendships of mine and it makes me sad. I have alot of friends that smoke and they really don't give a shit about their lives. Most of them are older than myself yet they are still years behind me in attempting to do anything with their lives. They work every day at either a gas station or some fast food restaurant to make money for rent and pot. Then go home and smoke the pot they bought, then go to work the next day & repeat. Though those are the more extreme cases. Not saying their aren't people out there that smoke pot and are productive to furthering their careers. Just alot less people are in that category than people who don't smoke.

@nerovega I'm already the bad guy for making this thread in the first place. Lol. I do however find it amusing when people in denial, like that guy, bring up "negative reinforcement" in the first place. And yes, to the second half of your post, I can relate completely. It's the main reason I have an objection to it. A lot of those who were close to me were the "extreme case". Plus, a lot things in general annoy me about it all. The obsession with that number, the whole "culture" as well. The fact that it becomes peoples lives. It's all so stupid. Plus you have the people bullshitting claiming they need it for "medical reasons" when they just want to get high. Just like any other drug. Sure, it's a plant, it's not crack or anything. But the recent obsession with it in society for the last few years, is very nerdy, and not in a good way. In fact, it's pathetic. It doesn't make you "cool" and using it as some form of coping mechanism for stress, is pathetic. Hell, many of the people who claim that, are in denial, or straight out bullshitting. So many people don't realize, that it's ruining them. Sure, it's natural, it's a damn plant. But it is harmful, and anyone who sends me web links "proving" that it's not, is an even bigger idiot. I just wish people would be smarter, and do more meaningful things with their lives.

Well, there is actually 2 issues here. I have nothing against marijuana or particularly someone just because they smoke it (I have smoked in the past but 99.999% of the time I have more important things to spend money on) However, there is a large and very immature sub-culture the embraces the lifestyle of pot smoking and that can get very annoying and pointless. For another example: I don't automatically hate someone just because they listen to ICP. But you won't find me hanging out with "Juggalos". Especially at a "Gathering" and I hate Faygo!

@Shin thats the thing I was trying to get known the research for the benefits of said pot are very bias not only that but are cherry picked results in favorable conditions. Not on average is that the case and therefor for this drug to be classified as a medical cure for things it needs to be given the same treatment as any the classification it falls under. Extensive testing and research that shows fully any side effects and the benefits that come with them.

@vamp Yeah I have nothing against pot itself, or anyone who smokes it. Everything else you mentioned afterwards, is the source of my annoyance. Everyone is a liar with their own agenda. Lol.

I think its great for medicinal purposes as its one of the best pain relievers out there. i'd rather see three hundred stoners then one person with ms who has to suffer
