Why is it that so many here claim to be so accepting?

I'm pretty sure most people here are accepting. Most of us are nerds and have been persecuted and discriminated against at one point so we'd extend acceptance to anyone. But at the same time, as others have pointed out, we have standards too when it comes to dating and attraction. Acceptance also doesn't mean attraction. It means you accept the way someone is and don't judge them for it. However when you're looking for a significant other that's someone you can potentially spend your life with. You have to be satisfied with them. At that point are you judging? yes you are but thats acceptable since its someone you may be with forever. At the end of the day we all want our Bishonen 's and Bishojo 's
