Gay Otaku - Yaoi

Okay, i know the title seems a bit arbitrary, but, for those yaoi fans (guys or girls) which yaoi fandom do you belong too? Personally my favorite yaoi at one point was Sukisho, but now it is totally sekai ichi (1+2) hatsukoi all the way! Thoughts? :D also don't worry i didn't forget junjou romantica ;)

I am straight. However I do admire romance fanfic from a non gender basis. In the sense im not in it for the sex or anything unless it fits the gender im interested in but the connection if it is good as in the connection itself actually is well placed and thought out. As for a pairing I like tiger and bunny it fits relatively well in my opinion.

Junjou Romantica. Also watched Gravitation but it was meh for me. Dont watch a lot of yaoi since I cant find what suites my taste. I personally like to matchup a few charachters from a none yaoi anime ( well it should have some yaoi "spice") and ship them as a yaoi cuple. For example Kuroko No Basuke- Aokise (Aomine and Kise).

I really liked sukisho because of the fact that both the characters had split personalities because of the fact they suffered from a traumatic experience from a young age.

Also, It is impossible to like yaoi if you are straight, there are no curve balls to it, it's either you like it for what it is and what's apart of it, or you just like regular dating anime's which i don't see much of besides maybe Clannad After Story.

Oh ok well I still find m/m romance good myself there are some good relationships that turn up out of it simple as that. I mean as I stated romance to me in fanfics is more about the connection rather then the actual sex or anything. Thats just how I feel about it. Thats why I dont read m/m sex fanfics because im not into it.

Oh that's how i feel about it too Metaljester. I didn't want you to think i was disapproving of your opinion. I totally agree with you on the way you perceive yaoi. I perceive it the same way! :D
