Break-up date

My ex after months of suggesting we should just break up after our one year anniversary, asks me if we can set up a specific date for us to break up. I was shocked and broke it off with him the next day. I thought his request was ridiculous. It was bad enough he was thinking about us ending it....but come on! And actual date to put on a calendar. Might as well call it "doom's day"<br><br>What is he thinking? There is no other woman for him right now...and he now says he misses my company? But he wanted this!? idk what to think.

Maybe he was being Formal and wanted to know when would be best to break up with you in a way that would not hurt anyones schedule. If that is not it then just plain weird.

It seemed like to me that he just wanted a way out just in case his feelings didn't change for me or we didn't end up getting married. After all that happened, he asked me if I would agree to an informal relationship. I told him that I rather just stay friends with him.

i dont think he really....'wanted it'. i think he just wanted to have some lay low time, maybe he wanted u to try to put eachother together. i mean i understand how he feels. maybe he wasnt ser but thought u sood knw? hard to say but iv done the same to my bf and it wasnt to hurt him was just cuz i wasnt ser what to do and wanted to see if he cood give me a reason to stay during that time. but u knw him better them me so maybe hes just a jerk ^^
